WCN is a Global e-Recruitment solutions provider based in London supporting operations across the world 24-7. Set up in 1995 by our managing director, Charles Hipps, WCN now employs a team of 80 (the largest solely dedicated to e-Recruitment in the UK), supporting 300+ employers using the system. After our flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2000, WCN went through a period of rapid growth, learning many lessons via client partnerships. Indeed, the Financial Times has described WCN as providing possibly the first ever e-Recruitment solution.
WCN has won numerous industry awards, both for ourselves and on behalf of our clients, including multiple successes in the Innovation in Technology category at the Onrec awards since their inception in 2005. The UK Government commissioned WCN to write the Guide to Best Practice in e-Recruitment in 2007. From this point, WCN has continued to develop its product range, producing a set of best practice sector products covering Retail, Central and Local Government, Financial Services, Police, Fire & Rescue, College, University, Legal and Graduate and Campus recruitment. This approach to solution design ensures a swift and painless implementation. With an ever-growing list of clients using the solution globally, WCN remains at the forefront of innovative e-Recruitment solution design.
